DAY 6 AT JIO MAMI 18th MUMBAI FILM FESTIVAL WITH STAR
Mumbai, October 26, 2016: Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival with Star Wraps up Day 6 with interesting and diverse events.
The day kicked off with Word To Screen Mart Sonam Kapoor, Ambassador of Word To Screen along with Vishal Bharadwaj, Abhishek Kapoor and Jabeen Merchant in conversation with Arpita Das shared sights on how books are adapted on the big screen.
Zoya Akhtar in conversation with Primetime Emmy Winner Cary Fukunaga, was a blend of information, cinema and fun. This one on one session provided many opportunities for a housefull of delegates to grasp some vision from these outstanding filmmakers.
A surprise element for the day was Light Music, a production entirely created by Artist Lis Rhodes. The day ended with the world premiere of Vikramaditya Motwane’s movie, Trapped. Trapped received a great response from the entire Theatre.
The red-carpet attendees were Vikramaditya Motwane, Rajkumar Rao, Patralekha, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena.
The JIO MAMI Film Festival is held across the city of Mumbai. Its has films being screened in Regal Cinema in South Mumbai to PVR cinemas at Phoenix Mills in Lower Parel and then in the northern suburbs of Andheri and Ghatkopar.
